Directions

The Juan Tabo Library is located on Juan Tabo Blvd, halfway between Candelaria Road and Comanche Road, on the west side of the street. Note the building is set back off the street.

By Bus:

By Car:

Freeway Directions:

Take I-40 to Juan Tabo and proceed northbound past Candelaria.

Surface Street Directions heading North on Juan Tabo, past Candelaria:

Make a left turn at the next left turn bay after passing Defined Fitness, the Yamaha dealership, and the Boehmer dental office.  Don't turn in at the dental office; you'll be driving on the wrong side of the street.

Surface Street Directions heading South on Juan Tabo, past Comanche:

Make the first right hand turn after passing the Sandia Plaza Condominiums and a flood control arroyo.

The Juan Tabo Branch Library closed for business at the end of the day, Saturday, March 31.  The branch will be getting a much-needed new roof, as well as improvements to other areas of the building.  We expect to re-open in the fall.  If you would like more information about the renovation, please look at the library's Projects page. While we are closed, you may return your checked out books to any ABC Libraries location.  Because the Juan Tabo branch will be entirely closed during the renovation, customers placing new holds will need to choose a branch other than Juan Tabo for item pick-up. Any existing holds can be transferred to another ABC Library branch of your choice. Need help transferring holds? Library staff will be happy to assist you. Thank you for your patronage.

Juan Tabo Branch Library

While the library is closed, we cannot accept Roadrunner Food Bank donations, but please don't let that stop you from giving!  You can find alternative donation sites at:  RoadRunner Food Bank donation locations 

What is Fiction to Go? The Friends for the Public Library sells slightly used, recently published fiction titles for $2 for hardbacks and $1 for paperbacks. Like all funds that our Friends receive, all proceeds from Fiction to Go sales benefit the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Libraries!
